John is a technology visionary and innovator responsible for product strategy at
Space Machine. He was previously a Computer Scientist at U.C. Berkeley from 1996 to 1998
where he participated in creating the world's first end-to-end aerial image delivery system
over the Internet. John is high-tech industry veteran and had participated in the
early-stage financing of a number of successful start-ups over the last 10 years,
including Interwoven (Nasdaq: IWOV), AdKnowledge (acquired: CMGI, 1999), Bluelark Systems
(acquired: Handspring, 2001), and Dante Group (acquired: WebMethods, 2003).
John received the M.S. (1988) and Ph.D. (1992) degrees in Computer Science from the
University of Michigan, and the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering (high honors) from
the University of Texas at Austin.

Vera is a high-tech industry veteran with over fifteen years of experience in product
marketing and channel development. She was previously Director of Product Marketing
at Nortel Networks, responsible for growing its $800 million Workgroup Switching
Products Division. Prior to Nortel Networks, Vera was responsible for establishing
ReSound Corporation's International Division where she helped build distributor and
reseller channels in Asia from 1993 to 1995. She was a Marketing and Business
Development Manager from 1990 to 1993 at Raychem Corporation of Menlo Park. Vera
began her career in 1984 with AT&T Bell Labs as a Member of Technical Staff. Vera
received an M.B.A. from Harvard in 1990, and graduated Cum Laude B.S. & M.S. degrees
in Computer Engineering from University of Southern California where she was also an
AT&T Bell Laboratories OYOC scholar.

Micah is the lead architect in charge of Space Machine's product and technology roadmap
for mobile devices. Micah specializes in user interface design, streaming media and Internet
protocols. His prior experience includes Sun Microsystems, SGI, and Intel. Micah holds
a Master's in Computer Science (1999) from U.C. Berkeley where he was the recipient of
a Sun Microsystems Fellowship, and a B.S. in Computer Engineering (highest honors,
Bronze Tablet) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, 1997.

Kenneth is in charge of product design and development at Space Machine, and oversees all
aspects of production working with key contract manufacturing partners from Taiwan, China,
Korea and Japan. Ken's prior design and manufacturing experience includes rapid prototyping,
plastic fabrication, package design, pre-press processing, web and 3D graphics at Level One
Communicatons and American Graphics. Kenneth holds a B.F.A. in Industrial Design from the
University of Illinois at Chicago, 1997. |
